Practise is observing your mind again and again,
not interpreting phenomenal appearances,
for whatever appears is mind itself.
I see it a little differently. Here's my gatha:
In my practice, again and again I fail to find a mind to observe,
and I am frequently interpreting phenomenal appearances;
for whatever appears is the discrimination of mind,
not mind itself.
